日本酒と関わりの深い杉を生かした店舗デザイン
日本酒の販売に特化した酒店の改装設計です。店のインテリアは杉を用いてデザインしました。福井にはおいしい日本酒がたくさんあり、設計にあたっては、数多くの蔵元からお話をうかがい、また、貴重な醸造場所を見学させていただきました。その結果得られたのが、“杉”というキーワードでした。杉は日本酒ととても深い関わりが深い材料です。今でこそ化学工場のような設備の中でお酒がつくられていますが、古くは、杉でできた酒樽が用いられていましたし、現在でも、“杉玉”はおいしい新酒ができたサインとして蔵元の軒下に飾られます。
住宅の柱などに用いる105角の杉材を等間隔に並べ、そのフレームによって、壁、天井、棚板などを構成しました。店に入ると、杉のとても良い香りが感じられ、木の質感と相まって、気持ちのよい店舗空間となっています。
This project is the interior design of Japanese liquor (sake) shop. The shop interior is designed by using Japanese cedar frames because Japanese cedar has a strong relation with the Japanese liquor sake. For example, a traditional sake cask was made of Japanese cedar once upon a time. And, a Japanese cedar ball is a sign of a sake brewery. We get the feeling of nice smell by Japanese cedar frames when we enter in the shop.
